    Puppy not eating and sleeping all day
    We got a new puppy on Saturday at first he was fine but on Monday was when he started to not eat and sleep all day, so we took him to the vet but they said he is fine. He doesn't have parvo. Today he still isn't eating and still sleeping all day, but he does drink water. Can anyone help me, what could be wrong with him!

    Seek another vet. A puppy basically does 3 things:eat, play and sleep. A vet who says a puppy not eating is OK is not going to see me a second time.

    How old is your puppy? While a second opinion might be your best bet, some puppies can suffer a bit of separation anxiety from leaving their pack. It may take her a few days tobecome adjusted.

    He's 6 weeks, do you think he maybe he's just picky? Because it's playing now but only eats very little. Do you think that's normal?

    At 6 weeks he is away from his litter mates and mom way too early. Not sure what the background is but can you return him to the pack for a few weeks?

    6 weeks is far too early to be leaving his pack. He needs to be socialized withhis litter mates and mama dog. Is there anyway he can be returned for 2 weeks?
