I like this guy but I'm not sure how he feels

So I've liked this guy at work. I've only talked to him unless I needed his help with work related issues. Any other time I can't talk to him because I'm too shy. We often make eye contact but that could mean anything. I like him and I'm not sure how I can get over this nervousness. I've become insecure over the last year and this is the first person I've liked in almost three years and it feels so different. I want to talk to him but he always seems to busy. What should I do?
