    If it's a newer model the control board on the furnace will give you a flashing light letting you know what the fault is. If the system does not light right or if a limit is open the blower will run all the time to let you know you have a problem. You will have to turn the power off and then back on going to the furnace to reset the control board to let it retry to light.
