I have a Goodman heat pump that's 5 years old (the original heat pump installed when the home was built). Today I turned the heat up from 65 to 70, the heat pump started running (it should have since it was less than 70 degrees in the house). Problem is, it got up to 75 degrees before I noticed...

My problem began when the outside unit froze up, the heating company replaced the defrost board, checked all the circuits, and replaced the thermastat and the unit still Runs and runs and doesn't shut off, raising the temperature to over 80 degrees when The thermastat is set at 65. HELP!
