Toilet water rises too much when I flush
When I flush the toilet, the water rises very high. It also takes awhile to flush down. But everything goes down (urine solids, toilet paper, etc) is there a way to have the water level not rise as much? I'm afraid it might overflow one day.

You have a partial blockage in the drain line from the toilet. Plunge and/or snake the drain with a closet auger. You may have to pull the toilet and work on the line from there.

I'm sorry if this has been asked already, but I couldn't seem to find an answer to what I was looking for -- or that I didn't seem to understand: My toilet, one morning, suddenly had a low water level in the bowl. In the tank I noticed that the water is at the brim of the overflow tube. ...

Hi, I just bought a house and found out from the neighbors that there has always been a problem with the 1st level toilet. When you flush it, water gushes in EXTREMELY fast -- so fast that the water level in the bowl rises to about 1/2" from the top of the rim. It looks like it is going to overflow...
