I have know this girl for fairly 3 to 4 years. I like her once I saw her in freshman year in High school. But we don't really talk that much and I don't really know her in freshman year. We both are in college now, and for this pass year we have been talking a lot. We are like best friends. When I finally want to tell her I have been liking her for a long time, I found out she has a boyfriend. When I heard that I try to hangout and meet more new girls, but the feeling for her always come back. I really don't know why I still have feelings for her and its been 4 years. What should I do please help. Thanks :)

Explain to me how you know someone 3/4 years and are like best friends and didn't know she had a boyfriend?

Now that you know, try a lot harder to leave her alone and make more time with OTHER friends, people places, and things.

Its not unusual to have strong feelings for a close friend of the opposite sex. But it's a problem when you let those feelings interfere in the rest of your life.

If you cannot handle those feelings, then you back away from her before you cross the lines of good behavior, dignity, and self respect, or lose that best friend.
