Go to www.trendmicro.com/housecall and choose the full scan. This is the recommended site that puter shops use and is recommended by Microsoft. It will take some hours to complete it's run (just let it run and be patient), so set your screen saver to stay off for a very long time (700 minutes or so to make sure). When this scan is done it automatically removes and fixes viruses, adware, spyware, etc. If this doesn't work, then I recommend that you do a destructive reinstall. This is done without losing your files, but depending on what computer you have, the procedure is different. Once you have this fixed, remove any crap anti virus you have (especially if it's Norton) and go to AVG.com and download the free home version (AVG Free 2012). This anti virus is awesome and catches everything. Don't go for the trial this or that and uncheck all the boxes as you go to next window, and just download the free home version. I've been using it for years, and nothing has ever gotten in my puters. When I had Norton (which you pay for) it was always asleep at the wheel when something came along, and was always a problem, or always let one in. I know a person who works for symantic (Norton), and even he says he would never use it. Norton maybe updates once a week or so if that. AVG updates every day, so after putting in your computer, set it to automatically do updates at a time of your choice. I did what I have told you here some years ago, and have never had a problem since I put AVG in, and all my friends and family that came to me with all their problems, I cleaned, and installed AVG, and no one has problems anymore, so when you get the problem you have now out of your computer, then put in the AVG Free 2012 Home Edition, and you will be among the many who have good protection and no problems. Everyone I did this for is very happy and problem free. Once you have it in, do a scan to start (Choose > Scan whole computer), then do a scan once a week, and you will be happy too.
