    . Change the under hood and under frame fuel filters (Motorcraft only).

    . Replace the fuel pump, if the problem persists. It may get heat soaked and tired, due to wear, and need replacing (Motorcraft only). Tolerances expand and fuel pressure drops, in these situations.
