Box Dying Black hair Chocolate Brown?

I have naturally very dark brown or black, asian hair. It has already been dyed a while ago, but I'm ready for a change. I was wondering if anyone knew a good box hair dye that's worked well for them, that will dye my hair a light chocolate brown without the bleaching and extra stuff. Also I was wondering if anyone had tried the frosty tips on darker hair and what it looked like.
