Why is my dog not putting on?
I have a 1 1/2 year old female boxer that has been tested for everything under the sun to figure out why she is not putting on weight and why she is having trouble urinating. She has been treated with antibiotics for urinary tract infections but that doesn't seem to cut it, which makes me believe it is not a UTI. She thinks she's going to the bathroom but nothing comes out and if it does it's just dribbles. She eat's like a horse but doesn't put on any weight. Our vet said the next option is exploratory surgery. I'm scared for my little one and am wondering if anybody has any other suggestions. Worms just aren't the answer for us and I don't know what else it coud be.
