    How do I figure out declared cash dividends?
    On July 1, 2012, the beginning of the current fiscal year the company has Preferred 2% Stock, $125 par (70,000 shares authorized, 35,000 shares issued) and Common Stock, $10 par (800,000 shares authorized,
    200,000 shares issued). Later in the year they Issued 80,000 shares of common stock at $14, receiving cash and Issued 18,000 shares of preferred 2% stock at $144. It is Declared cash dividends of $2.50 per share on preferred stock and $0.08 per share on common stock. Thanks for your help, Chris
