Lack of period for 5 months
I am 15 years old. I started having my periods when I was 10 and they were always regular. Now for 5 months I haven't had a period, cramps, discharge, etc. All the signs pointed to pregnancy but I have never had sex. I went to the doctor and they had me do a pregnancy test and it was negative. I don't know what's wrong. Please help! I have also never missed a period or had one that was late.

You had normal menstration until 5 months ago it stopped. This is consider as secondary amenorrhea. There are many causes,if most common cause ;pregnancy r/o then should looking others;most important cause is stop ovarian production. There are causes stop egg product such over weight lose, over excerse ,stress, drugs chronic illness.all due to higher level hormon control from brain(pituitary, hypothalamic) and thyroid function.Since the cause is complicated you need to go to your doctor to find out.
