Strange noise from pipes, any idea? (pics).
    Hi,

I moved into a flat recently, and have found some strange noises from every where in the flat, but it seems the loudest is from some floor to ceiling pipes.

The sound is so loud, it can wake me up in the morning. However, when I touch them, I cannot feel any vibrations. What I can do?

I am attaching a picture showing the top part and bottom part of the noisy pipes.

I would call the owner and report the issue, also ask why there are so many grounding wires on the pipes. What do the small aluminum tags say that are attached to the pipes

    Thank you for quick response!
I reported it to the owner but when the person came there was no noise at all. I then tried to record the noise by my computer microphone without success: it can record my voice but not the pipe noise although the pipe noise was much bigger then my voice.
The small aluminum tags say "Do not remove...safty..."
