    LH Surge Before Period
I have a question. I am 12dpo today. I have a 28 day cycle and I always ovulate on CD14. I temperature chart, take ovulation tests, etc. I've noticed the past 3 months that I seem to be getting positive pregnancy tests which turn out that I'm not pregnant. So, I called my doctor yesterday and asked her why this is happening. She said it's because some women have an LH surge right before their period. So, I went home and took an OPK test, and lo and behold, it was positive, but negative with the HPT test. My period is suppose to arrive Friday. I had a positive OPK yesterday and this morning. I check my CM and my Cervix. My Cervix is low and I am having dry CM right now, so I know I'm not ovulating. What causes this LH surge before your period? What does it mean? Is there something wrong with me? Could I be ovulating twice every month? Is this a sign of pregancy? I'm just trying to understand what's going on and understand my body better. Please help!!
