    Relocatate after divorce
    OK I have a question papers have been filed and I need to relocate he has not helped my in any way shape or form yes he has seen his son but no help otherwise and I need to relocate for a job help can I or can't I

    First, its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's thread, This can cause confusion, so I've moved your question to it's own thread.

    What papers have been filed? Have any court orders been issued? What is your general locale?

    Generally, if there is pending litigation or court orders issued, you can do nothing that will go against those orders without court approval. If you have simply filed for divorce, then you include the request to relocate as part of the petition. From there you can negotiate this. If there is court ordered visitation, then you have to go to court to modify the visitation.

    I live ibn wa sttate and just found out that I need to amend my proof of service cause it is not done right I am thinking on just hiring a attorney cause he is in defalt tooo I am wanting to move to tx I can not find work here in seattle been unemployed for 3 years

    It is not just a hope full wish I will be getting a job already have a place to live will not take me long just wondering when I would be able to leave I have done my parenting class my husband has not he is in defalt on the divorce need to get all of this figured out before the snow flys I just want to be out of here

    That you already have a job offer in TX may help you in court. But you MUST get the court to approve the move. I would ask for an emergency hearing to get permission to move. Make sure you properly serve your husband for this hearing, because if he doesn't show you can get permission by default.
