August 19, 2011- Day 1 of period
September 2, 2011- Day 1 on Nuvaring
September 14, 2011- Had unprotected sex and took morning after pill right after
September 15, 2011- Had unprotected sex again
September 17, 2011- Took morning after pill
September 23, 2011- Week 3 of nuvaring took it out
I been feeling like I'm going to get my period with cramps Amd headaches for the past 3 days but only have this mucus like discharge. Also the reason I took the morning after pill while on the nuvaring is because I didn't start on my period as directed and was told by my doctor to wait 2 weeks to be fully protected which I didn't I waited 12 days. So I used Plan B One Step as back up.

First do you understand the Plan B is not for constant use and only to be used more in an emergancy, when proper planning did not work.

So of course you do realize that you should have just waited and/or used more protection.

You also know that there are no birth control products that are 100 percent. Even plan B,

So could you be, yes of course, you can be on birth control, use a condom and still get pregnant, the odds are less but it can happen.

Now to your problem, as you know, I am sure, from reading all of the instructions with Plan b, that it will mess up the timing of your cycle, so for a couple of months your period will be off.

At this point you will just have to wait to see. Most likely you are not. But for safety, in the future, even using other forms, if you don't want to be pregnant, you may want to add additional protection

Yes I understand that the morning after pill is not for constant use but I had unprotected sex both days and I should have waited but didn't hence the emergency to take a back up which is what Plan B is. I didn't know it delays period by months though so thank you for that info. I guess I will have to wait.

I will clarify, there is little chance that you could be pregnant, but there is a small chance.

I just can not tell you that you are not, since it could be.

But then if you had said, I was on the pill, and used a condom could I be pregnant, the answer is still the same, there is a chance
