    It could be low on gas ( if its low it has a leak) .The fan its not working ( inside fan ) or most of the time the coil are dirty and need to be clean.

    This may sound like a dumb question but have you checked all of your return air filters. Lack of air flow can cause frosting of the lines and coil. Not the only reason but the first place to start.
