    Heat is not staying on
    I have a kenmore dryer 11074642400 that will light go for a while then it will go out and not come back on. I have cleaned out the unit what might it be?

    Hi bradleyb, while you were cleaning the dryer out did you also check the vent?

    How long does the flame stay on?
    Do you own a volt/ohm meter, and know how to use it? Let me know.

    Gas or electric? I would check and clean both the lint filter and the entire length or the vent pipe all the way to day light. I had a particularly long vent run to clean, duct taped my leaf blower into the vent and let her rip.
