    My p trap does not fit snugly to my sink drain tail piece

    Hi Mccraw921

    Bathroom Sink drain assemblies are 1.25" and the plumbing drain/ptrap can be either 1.25" or 1.5".

    It sound to me like you have an 1.5" ptrap and therefore the solution to your issue is to go out and purchase an 1.5" x 1.25" trap nut and washer... should be that simple... :)

    Install the nut to the trap and it should connect up perfectly to your sink drain.
