    How can I tell
    Can't tell if my dryer element is bad or if it's the thermostat?

    Disconnect dryer. Remove back form dryer. Remove wires from element and check for continuity on element. If infinity it is good. Check the thermostats the same way. Replace the defective parts. Not hard to check
