Pool cleaner gets stuck on drain
My barracuda g3 gets stuck on the drain after working fine for the last 4 months ago. I have the main drain turned off. I recently got a new diaphram, although it worked for a couple of weeks fine, then this started happening.
To confirm the main drain was closed, I went down there and checked, and there is no suction from the drain. If I open up the valve on the main drain, I feel the suction. Any clues? I'd hate to have to buy something to put on the drain when it was working just fine before. |

HI, Went to home depot yesterday and found various chemicals available claiming hair and grease dissolve, was curious if those really works? Or to have drain cleaned? I have no clogs yet but just feeling that water goes really slowly and also have lot of hair falling. Thanks
I recently had a leak in my bathroom drain under my slab foundation. Would it hurt anything if I tried pouring some drain unclogger like Liquid Plumber in my washing machine drain pipe? It keeps overflowing, but I don't want to create a bigger problem.
Do you recommend the routine use of a chemical drain cleaner in sinks? If so which one and how ofter? Thanks, RB
