    I live in California and am 17 ,boy friend is 19 ,baby due in April can I marry him?
    I want to marry my boy friend , and my parents won't let me what can I do ?

    Wait until you are 18 and able to make adult decisions without parental consent.

    Justhavetoknow: Please read the rules for ratings on this site. The "reddie" (as we like to call it) is only for factually incorrect answers. Please keep that in mind for any future postings. Synnen is also completely correct: You cannot do anything without parental consent until you are 18. Even if you were completely independent and wanted to be emancipated, you would be 18 by the time you got through the court proceedings.

    What did not help, while it may not have been completely clear.

    1. You may marry him as long as your parent or guardian will sign for you to marry.

    2. if not you will have to wait till you are 18 to get married.

    So yes you can marry him, it will just either require you to wait or get someone to sign for you.
