I was involed in a misdamor case in 2009 and I was fingerprinted and my picture was taking as well. I called the court that I went to for the case and they told me that it was on my record under Non convicted and supervised also that it went through successively. I recently got a job at a daycare center and there requiring me to get fingerprinting and am worried that it might come up.. I also talked to the police of IL and they told me the only thing that shows up is when they convict you... I just need to know if anybody has been in this situation or knows more information about it

If you plead guilty or took a plea agreement, that is the same as "convicted"

Only if you got a first offenders program where the charges were dismissed after probation and fines paid.

The arrest, the fingerprinting, the photo means nothing, it is what happened when you went to court. What did the judge do, or say, was there an agreement , was there some plea you did ?
