    What if a permanent residence gets divorced
    I have lived in Canada for ten years on a permanent residence card, my canadian husband wants a divorce. What are my rights?

    You can maintain your immigration status, no problem. Don't get divorce without a lawyer. You are entitled to half of marital property, spousal support, and child support if you have children under 18.
