Can I sell my ex fiance's personal property since he is refusing to pay me money?
I put $2700 towards my engagement ring. We were engaged for a month and a half. He has the ring. Can I keep the items he left in my apartment and sell them in order to get back some of the money he owes me? He is refusing to pay me any of the money.

If you sell his property he could probably take you to court over it, Kryssie. Second hand stuff probably will not recoup your $2700. You have to weigh your options I guess and decide what is best, going to court over second hand furniture or recouping, what about $200?
