Do I have to wait to deep-condition my hair in a salon after dying it at home?
I want to re-dye my hair (at home), but I also need to get it deep conditioned in a salon. Do I have to or how long should I wait after dying it at home to get it conditioned? Will it damage my hair? Please help

It definitely is important to do treatments on your hair if you are chemically treating it. If you want to do the treatment before you dye your hair then I would at least wait a week or 2 to dye your hair after doing the deep conditioning. If you dye your hair first then it doesn't really matter as much but I usually at least wait a week to do any treatments after dying my hair. Also there are many deep condition treatments you can buy at beauty supply stores and do it yourself. Redken is always good as well as purology and unite. There a lot of great brands. If you want to do it yourself you can even mix different one's together. After you apply to your hair then you can put like a shower cap on and apply heat with the blow dryer. This helps the product to work better and your hair will be really silky smooth. You can leave in for like 2o minutes... sometimes I apply heat for a few minutes and leave it on for a couple hours if I feel my hair has been really damaged. Then rinse out when done. Deep conditioning treatment would not damage your hair... but if you do the treatment right before you dye it then the dye my not stay on as well and the color won't be as bright so make sure you wait. But I definitely recommend doing deep condition treatment if you dye your hair often.

I have wavy/curly/frizzy medium weight hair which I color. I would like recommendations for 1) a deep condition treatment product (to use once a week) and 2) an anti-frizz curl enhancing styling product that won't weigh my hair down or dry it out. Thanks.
