So here's the deal. Yesterday, I went to get a fitness test at my gym, and I was assigned to a very cute trainer. We flirted and it seemed as though he was attracted to me. I told him I came to the gym almost every day, and near the end of our session, he said something like, "You come here everyday then right? So do I, so I'll see you around."

I want to keep talking to him and getting to know him, but I know that's hard to do at a gym, especially since he works there. I don't really want to have him help me with the workout stuff unless I really need it (and then of course I'll ask him). The other issue is that he knows I'm 19, and I'm guessing he's about 24 or 25. I'm afraid he might think I'm too young, or off limits or something. I consider myself a pretty girl, and I've been told by many people that I'm very mature for my age. What should I do? Should I wait for him to make a move because of our age difference? I usually don't like to wait too long, but I want to do this the right way. Help!

Try finding opportunities to talk to him and go from there. The more you talk, the more chemistry you can build with each other and he might actually want to ask you for your number.

But without new conversations, there's no way to build a connection with each other.

Keep "accidentally" bumping into him at the gym! You're lucky to fancy a lad who you already have the potential to see everyday. Keep trying to chat to him and perhaps a bit of flirting, and see if he goes for any of it. If he seems completely disinterested, then you have your answer. If he flirts back, just ask him out.
Don't make an issue out of your age though, because if you make an issue out of it, then he might pick up on it too. Just act normal, and it may not even bother him. After all, even though there's a 5-6 year age gap, it's not like you're 16 and he's 22. Age becomes less of an issue the older you get.

I've never been one for awesome timing with guys, because I'm always so excited to get things going that I make the move too soon.
So I'm curious: How soon is too soon after meeting someone to ask them out? Or how soon is too soon to text someone after exchanging phone numbers? Or how soon is too soon to start getting serious after casual dating? And what about sex, when do you know when it's okay to have sex with them so that they don't just drop me right afterwards? I've had casual sexual encounters, but I usually end up wanting more and then I realize that the guy doesn't because I slept with him right away.

There is no timetable, but before dating anyone, know something about them so as not to be falling for a married person, or player that has someone. Matter of fact, just have enough friendly conversations to know them well enough to be comfortable. If you cannot figure them out in a few months, don't waste time having sex. Actually, things will flow naturally if you pay attention, and stay in control of yourself, and take your time.
