    Wiring lights in crawl space
I'm wiring 10 lights in crawl space. Power entering first light then going to 9 others then to light switch. What is the proper way to wire this?

Won't work that way. Power needs to go to the switch first, or the first light fixture needs to have a switch leg to the switch. Doesn't do much good to switch the power on and off after you have used it.

Put the switch first, that way, the wire is dead. If you put the switch last, all the wire to that point will be hot.
