Floor bid for a government agency
I'm bidding a contract for providing floor cleaning services for 1,738 square feet of floor space. All hallways, foyers and kitchen. Services provided every other month(6 times per year.) wax and buff floors. Also, Bi-annual basis(2 times per year) Strip, rewax floors. I'm interested in knowing the standard cost per sq. Foot. I will also be responsible for providing solutions. Transportation to and from area, is roughly 20 miles round trip

If this is a U.S. gocernment agency then you need to look into things a little further. You may be subject to the "Davis-Bacon Act". It is mandatory you follow those guidelines if you have employees.

There may be requirements for safety (correct) provide a MSDS for approval.

Pricing is always your decision in the end. I suggest the average pricing I use in the Chicago area as follows:

    Strip/refinish (3-4 coats): $0.25
    Scrub/refinish (3-4 coats): $0.15
    Buffing: $0.05
