    Recurring bacterial vaginosis, help!
So I have been looking for hours trying to find answers and I'm not coming up with any... I have recurring bacterial vaginosis... There are many causes of it but mine seems to be sex with a specific partner. I know it can't be sexually transmitted, men don't get be. They don't have vagina's. But a few of my doctors have told me his semen throws off the ph in my vagina causing these infections... My doctor suggested treating him, then changed her mind.. Some women have written that having their boyfriend treated stopped the infections... but no one mentions how he was treated with. Help?

Treated with pills, same as you. You will keep getting this infection from him so long as he is not treated. He's probably giving this to other sexual partners he has as well and until everyone is treated, you will keep getting the back. You may opt for him using a condom. That may stop or slow it down a bit. Try that.
