Attestation of Birth Certificate by Portuguese Consulate in Abu Dhabi
    Hi All,

I am from Goa- India. I was born in Kuwait and I got my Birth Certificate from the Ministry of Health in Kuwait. I have got it attested by The Indian Embassy in Kuwait and also from Kuwait Foreign Affairs.
Now I would like to know if the Portuguese Consulate in Abu Dhabi will do the attestation or I have to compulsorily send it to Portuguese Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
    Please guide me.

Hi I assume that either of the places can do the job, but better would be to give it to the Embassy in Riyadh rather than the consulate. I hope this is of some help to you! Would really love some more info on how to apply for the portuguese passport if you don't mind helping! We are also Goans from Kuwait/Dubai.

You will have to approach Embassy in Riyadh. The consultate in Abu Dhabi only attends to those who have residency in UAE and not other GCC countries.

I am currently living in UAE and have confirmed this with the Consulate.

    Hope this helps.
