It has now been six weeks since we last heard from the Immigration Officer who was investigating into our marriage. Is there any way to find what the case status is without actually calling that Officer himself?

He has pretty aggressive in his questioning neighbors and friends and did that regularly for less than a month. How long do they usually take to report and finalize their investigation?

I understand that he does not have to necessarily inform us in case he decides to close the case and that I would be getting a "Notice to Appear" in case he decided to take us to Court. Would that "Notice to Appear" come via regular or Certified Mail, or would it actually be served to me by an Officer?

Every day that goes by I get more anxious, panicking every time my doorbell rings or when I go check my mail in fear of what may be waiting for me.

Any indication would be greatly appreciated.
