Same as you will any other place... get sent back to jail for up to the full remaining amount of the probation period. Starting from the point you were in violation. Assuming no new charges were collected which will of course add to it upon conviction.

    Hello again, j:

Actually, it's WORSE than what smoothy said.. He's assuming you get CREDIT for the time you served on probation BEFORE the violation... That's not so.

Let's say, for example, that you had a sentence of 5 years, suspended, in lieu of 5 years probation, and you violated on the LAST day of your probation. You DON'T just have one day left. They can make you do the ENTIRE 5 years in prison.

excon is correct, now for one failed drug test, if there has never been any other violation most likely not get the max,

It is more likely they will lock you up for about 2 months pending a hearing, and then release you back on probation at the hearing.

But the worst, yep, you go and serve every day of the probation time in prison, and as EXCON said, not just what is left, but the entire amount first given

I live in Texas and I was placed on probation in 2005 and I reported for about 6 months and then stopped going. I know I have a warrant out but it has a bond. Do you think I can be reinstated if I turn myself in and bond out and maybe get a lawyer and talk to the judge or probation office?
