    Can my best friend's mom adopt me with my dad's consent?
    My father has never really been a father to me, he has given me a place to sleep and eat and that's it. He yells for no reason accuses me of stuff I don't do, says I don't do anything for the house when I actually do everything while he sits on his butt and watches TV.

    I'm tired of coming home just to walk back out the door because I can't stand him. My best friend has agreed to adopt me. I would love for this to happen, she's like a mom to me. She takes care of anything I need without thinking about it.

    She loves me like a son and she is one of the most important people in my life. I was just wondering if it was possible for me to live with her and for her to get custody of me.

    So your dad is OK if you live with them ?

    My mother passed away 6 months ago and you have not asked my father yet I want to no posibilities before I ask
