How can I get rid of my hair dye?
In January, I dyed my hair black. It was only temporary hair dye, and wasn't supposed to last over 40 washes.

It is now August, and my hair is still an extremely dark brown. I really want to get my hair back to it's original very light brown hair. Does anyone know of a way to make it fade away?

I've heard of a few methods to 'lighten' the effects of hair dye, but most of them only work close to the time you dyed your hair, and it's not quite what I'm looking for anyway. Help?

I recommend going back to a salon with a professional colorist before doing anything else to your hair.

I added a related Question and Answer about changing hair dye color.

Please find a real good colorist!

    Good luck.
