Harbor breeze ceiling fan speed issue
Hi... my name is randy and my question is this... medium speed runs faster than high... wasn't always that way... this has recently happened also with another ceiling fan... there is only a 4 step pull chain and directional switch... I have already replaced properly the 5 wire capacitor send free to me by harbor breeze... also there is now a more robust hum than when it was new.. especially when switching it to the medium speed... I am very well versed in electronics and mechanics so feel free to get technical as I can take the motor apart and try any ideals you may have... if possible I would rather fix it than buy a new one if possible... thanking you in advance for your time and effort to help me... sincerely, randy :))
