My fiancé has been on probation for 3 years. He never violated anything we have a 2 yr.old and a baby on the way. . he got pulled over driving without licsence. He was put in jail on p.o. hold. His p.o drug tested him and found marijuana in his system. She was going to revoke him but gave him a chance at a program in a halfway house.there he went to meetings and got a job. He followed all the rules but then ghot kicked out.the counsler there said the program wasn't right for him and he blamed his problems on everyone but himself.he is now in jailo waiting on a trial to defend himself in a revocation hearing.should we hire a lawyer and what are his chances?

Of course he violated his probation, you seem set at making excuses for him.

violations
1. driving without license
2. using illegal drugs
** that right there is enough to send him to jail

Then he got a chance, but he screwed it up, he as you do, want to make excuses and not responsibility

His counselor did not "kick him out" he was not trying in the program, He did not want help, so now he gets to serve his time.

He needs an attorney and his chances are real good at going to prison to at least get his attention
