Hello! Ive always been a pretty regular girl. In the past 6 months, my periods have been abnormal. I had an abdominal CT done on me about 8 months ago for some constipation issues I was having, and they said that it showed a small cyst on my ovary but they didn't seem concerned... they said it was normal for women my age (28). Since then, one month it will come exactly when its supposed to and ill have a regular flow, and the next month it always comes early and I have SEVERE cramps the whole period. Bleeding is also very severe and is accompanied with very large clots... but its not throughout the entire period! It just bleeds heavily and clots for about 2 hours then slows down! This usually occurs on the 2nd or 3rd day. It gets so bad it makes me nauseous and dizzy. Went to GP and he just said it was irregular periods and brushed it off like it was nothing and didn't seemed concerned... he just placed me on birth control. Now I've started bleeding very heavily while I sleep and wake up to a mess. All of this is not normal for me and I know something's wrong! Please help! I really don't believe its anything that because is going to help!
