    We found a singer sewing machine here'sthe model number AE4622292 and the motor number 557110. Could you give us the age of this machine?

    You would probably get further if you contact Singer with that information. They could probably give you an answer fairly quickly.

    You still need the serial number to date it because during the war many machines sat around until Singer had time to make them. The serial number will tell us all we need to know. DrTom4444
