Dr. Bill, can 2 beers get out of my system in 40 hours?
I drank 2 beers from 9:30 pm to 10pm on Wednesday night and got EtG tested on Friday afternoon, roughly around 2pm. I drank at least 20 glasses of water, as well, as worked out Thursday and Friday morning. Will I be OK?

Most likely if these were normal sized 12/16 oz beers. However, be aware the EtG can give false negs and false positives whether you have been drinking or not. Why did you have to take the test/ The bigger question is if you knew you were to be tested then why are you drinking?
