I'm 17 and mixed with black and white so my hair texture is slightly different, wavy, thick and puffy. When I was growing up I had long hair but when I was 14 I got a relaxer and my hair cut to my shoulders. I got relaxers every 6-8 months after that until I was 16. I haven't had a relaxer in over a year, and I don't plan on getting another one. Every time I trim my hair it doesn't grow back, yet my ends continue to break. Right now my hair is unfortunately about chin length, no dead ends, I condition it every week and try to straighten it only 1-3 times per week, the 3rd usually being a quick run over with the flat iron. I use heat protector spray, I've tried cholesterol and protein packs and nothing helps. Why won't my hair grow?? I'm desperate!! :confused::confused::confused::confused:
