I am debating on whether I should dye my hair really dark brown or black. My problem is I have light hair ( not naturally , dyed) as of now & I am scared that the black color is going to be too strong & look funny. My problem with the Dark brown hair is that I am afraid that the more I wash it the more color is going to come out & I don't want it to be light again , what was the purpose of dying it ? Any help?

Hard to say without seeing a picture or knowing your complexion. Start with brown, remember you have to use red if you are blonde or your hair will grab green. Then try darkening it more. You have a few problems to consider. If you are light blonde, you have to use red to counteract the green. It's going to fade because all colors do. And if you want it darker remember your hair will hold color darker at the bottom. I have seen too many girls with light brown tops and black dull ends. Good luck :)

Dye it dark brown. Because once you dye it black that becomes harder to hide when you want to redye it. Pale people should not have black hair. It makes them look sickly ill. WIth any hair dye you should redye your hair whenever your natural roots start showing once again. Try using color treated shampoo it usually helps your color stay longer

Do it dark brown!. it won't come out right away. But once it starts to fade do it over again. :)
