    Identifying Artist of Oil Painting
    I recently purchased an oil painting at an estate sale. It has the artist's signature but it is not legible. Does anyone recognize this signature or know of a GOOD FREE site to research artist's signatures?

    You may do better by taking the painting to a respected gallery or museum and ask to talk to the curator.
