What is the law in PA for children having their own room? My baby 5 months...
I have been room sharing since he was born, I may be moving into my own place, for now I share a house with other borders and can't have crying at night. Was wondering what my deadline might be for finding a two bedroom.

I don't know what you mean by the deadline for finding a two bedroom - ?

There is no law in PA for children having their own room/sharing a room UNLESS you are on public assistance OR receiving housing assistance.

Unless you are dealing with subsidized housing of various kinds, there's no laws about children having their own rooms. Your question is confusing, because it isn't clear what kind of deadline you are talking about. If the people you share the house with want you out because of crying at night, you don't have a deadline per se. You probably rented as a single person, and that is part of the agreement of living in one room? They need to give you 30 days notice.

A baby in your room need not keep others awake at night. One peep and you should be there ready to feed the child, walk it, hold it. Is he or she crying anyway, or are you sleeping through it, or leaving to go get a bottle? This is all solvable while you look for a place to live. You could put an ad out for other single mothers and do a lot of sharing.

Agree, unless you are dealing with children and family services who may have "rules" or unless you are dealing with family court and custody issues where another parent is filing a complaint. There are no rules

Next at times babies cry, and other renters will have to deal with it ( even if they don't like it)

Other renters will have to deal with it for now, but they don't have to put up with 2 people in one room, which sounds like their basis for telling OP she and her baby have to move out.

This comes up a lot with boyfriends and girlfriends staying over too much (or moving in) in a shared house or apartment, and feeling justified because they are in one room. Not justified. There's the kitchen, bathroom, living room, utilities, noise, dirt, and all the rest that is shared, and the roommates have a right to say that the rule is one person per room.
