They usually are found on the motor housing itself. It should look like a hump on the motor housing.

Trane TWE040E Variable Speed motor module replacement ?
Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement part for a Trane TWE040E unit that has a blower motor part # from GE 11/12/93 BF05 04NZ written on it.. Motor does not spin, just tries every minute but cannot. Service tech stated a $ 750 part is needed.. Can I find myself and install cheaper?? Thanks

Most are mounted on the squirrel cage ,the motors that Califdado3 is talking about are normally in furnaces that have belt driven blowers, haven`t seen one for many years in a home they mostly in very large commercial units,, don`t know what you have or where it is located

I've got a Lennox G12 series furnace and the blower seems to have stopped working. I read a few posts and saw a reply mention giving the fan a little push start while the burners kicked on.
