Machine dispenses bleach and fabric softener immediately when deposited in the machine. It then ruins any clothing it comes in contact with as it has not diluted with water yet. What is wrong?

The switch or solenoid is bad. I would think the solenoid is stuck open and needs to be taken apart and cleaned. DrTom4444

When I try to start a wash I am getting a F 1 message.

I am getting an error message of F 1. Is there any way I can reset to get washing.

All of the information indicates that the motor control assembly is bad. These washers are known to be defective and this will cost from $150 - $300. I would get a new one- a top loader of a different brand.
