    Remote doesn't operate the fan
I have a Midili 507 386 ceiling fan - brand new and installed by a licensed electrician.
The DIP switches were not changed from their original position. Is this a problem?
If I get the DIP switches changed and the fan still does not operate "what should I do"?

As long as the DIP's are at the same position, they should work. If this is brand new, by a "licensed electrician" why aren't you getting him back to fix the problem. Battery or miss wire are other possibilities. Did you have a wall switch for the fan before? Is it on? You still need 120VAC power for the fan and light.
