Okay my house was built about 5 years ago on grounds never used. It was nothing but trees. Anyway I have 3 cats and a little blind dog. When I moved in I was in 6th grade and my little brother was 8 he told my aunt he didn't like being alone cause he saw a little girl here. I shook it off. Now I'm 15 and about 4 months ago in the middle of the night I heard drawers slamming in my moms bathroom (next to my room). Couldn't be my cats or dog. They all sleep in my room with me. This continued for 6 weeks every night so I finally told my mom (she's very into ghost and stuff) but she's VERY skeptic when it comes to HER having ghosts. So when I told her, it suddenly stopped. Now 2 nights ago I heard 2 slams in my bathroom and then a lady talking. Wasn't my mom cause I got up and checked. So I shook it off but that night I had terrible nightmares. Now last night my bedroom light was on and everyone was asleep. I had the TV muted, both cats sleeping on my bed and the dog on my floor. I was painted my nails and saw a shadow block the light for a second so I looked at my cats who were now wide awake staring at my light. I was so freaked out. Then one of the cats walked to the end of my bed staring at the light. So I continued painting my nails and my other cat opened the door and walked in and she got on the bed but then I heard a growl. The only way I can describe it is... Demonic. Like a devil or evil. So I kept my light on and slept. And I had another nightmare. Also my room is never warm or hot but now suddenly I wake up sweating and it so hot now in my room even though I have a fan. So I wake up at 1:45 pm and I got up, ate then went back to my room. Then I heard the growl again. Then like a hiss but not a cat hiss. So I pick up the phone and call my mom. As I'm explaining it all to her I begin to get nauseous and I couldn't get my words out but I finally tell her and all she says is "I don't here any of if so I can't do anything about it. Sorry". Am I just paranoid? Or is there something in my house messing with just me? Occasionally my brother will hear drawers slam. So what do you think? Please help :(

Wow it does sound haunted :o OK if you are religious, I would definitely recommend a priest to do a cleansing of the house. If that is not an option, speak. Try your hardest not to be afraid and tell it to please leave you alone. That you mean no harm and just want to live peacefully. I hope everything goes well but if it switches from emotional to physical damage you really need some help maybe contact a psychic or (I recommend) a priest. Keep posted on what happens. I wish you good luck.

Thanks so much :) I will try to talk to whatever is here. My mom doesn't want me speaking about it to my brother since he gets scared easily but she gets skeptic to all of it so I'm going to try asking it questions with a camera on and see if I catch anything and if I do, I will post and show it to her and hopefully get help. I just thought I'd say something on here cause I didn't think ghosts made growling and hissing noises so I figured it was an evil thing. But like I said I'm going to take your advice on speaking and if it starts to get physical I will have the house blessed. Thank you :)

So, we're going to judge the evilness of a spirit by the sounds it makes? Mini31... so which is it, priest or psychic? Because those are two far ends of the spectrum... which is right? Just because someone claims to deal in the spirit realm does not mean they understand it.

Babybloo, to what degree is your mom into ghosts and stuff? Does she seek contact with them in anyway or does she just like the TV shows that have a paranormal subject matter? What is the religious background of you/your family? Has your mother ever had an experience... either here or another time in her life? I highly doubt you are just paranoid... but it might be interesting to set up a camera at night where you hear these drawers opening. I highly suggest you do not try to talk to this spirit... if indeed you have one. I'm not saying pretend it isn't there... but don't try to communicate. Does your brother still see or experience things there?

My mother is very interested in the paranormal. She doesn't get scared and doesn't talk to them. She's just really into it. She's had plenty of "weird" experiences. My whole family has had an experience with ghosts in their time. Also I'm catholic. I'm not really all that religious and I don't go to church often. And my brother doesn't hear any of it anymore. But when I heard these noises, my heart dropped and I got scared so I really don't know what to think of it.

I said it depended on her religious views. I didn't want to offend by only recommending a priest because of my own religion without knowing hers or if she believed in any. Hence, the psychic.

Well now that I think of it, it may not be human but that doesn't make it a demon. You said there was only trees at before at the property right? So maybe the trees cutting down killed some of the wildlife who saw that as home and they remained in the same spot. I mean a lot of people don't believe in animal spirits but who knows? It makes a little more sense due to the hissing and growling and maybe trying to get you out of its "home" as it could see it and also because an animal can't respond to you but just move around and raccoons are known to open trash cans and stuff. If it is, just treat it nicely, seeing at it may think humans are all bad like the ones who destroyed its home. But that's a completely different thing... if animal souls exists, they must be very confused I'm guessing but well yeah that's a completely different situation. It's hypothetical though but just in case.

There are many things that can bring a spirit into someone's home/life. Actions by certain individuals or simply a territorial spirit... either or, there are ways to deal with it. I'm not much on kids/teens trying to rid their home of spirits without the parents really knowing what is going on. If indeed you do have a spirit in your home... it is not human (or animal). Thanks to the media, hollywood and other groups... the reality of demons is simply based upon whether someone's head spins around or something. Demons are real and are more deceptive than "evil looking". Be careful with this thing. If you are Catholic and want this thing gone... it's going to be time to take that faith very seriously.
