No power on part of circuit
I live in a mobile home. I have power on part of the circuit, but not all. The back bedroom is not working at all. When I check the voltage, I get 120 from hot to ground, but nothing from hot to common. Any ideas?

You have a loose neutral some where. Check all non working outlets and the last working outlet on that circuit. If the "Quick Connect" holes in the back of the outlets were used, move wires to screws. The Quick Connects are known to cause poor connections after a period.

Hot to common-if you mean the neutral, you have a broken or disconnected neutral somewhere to the BR circuit. Check the last functioning outlet with a circuit tester, pull the outlet and subsequent outlets and look for a non connected neutral.

How would I use a voltage tester? Would I go from outlet to outlet measuring the voltage? I've gone around the house and tightened outlets and opened the panel and tightened the screws that were not tight. I haven't seen the lights dim since I tightened everything. Thanks a lot! Gbrown
