2nd probation violation Ohio: Will she do more time?
My friend was arrested for an F3 Burglary charge in Ohio. Her probation was violated for testing positive for drugs and she spent a week in jail. They released her and put her on house arrest. 4 months later, she tested positive again for drugs. She has been in jail 18 days so far and sees the judge today. Do you think they will let her out or add more time?

There's no way to know. She certainly won't walk out with absolutely nothing.

She's violated twice. What happens next depends on how much patience the Judge has.

Seeing as how all the folks here in Wayne County and the surrounding counties including Cleveland are not getting any jail time for F4 and F5 crimes but getting probation instead since the jails are now full and don't have the money to house the perps any more, I highly doubt that your girlfriend is going to see anything except more probation time with a stern warning from the judge to shape up. Your friend needs to remember in Ohio you don't have to retreat any longer so that means if she comes to my home my Sonny just might part her hair with his Estwing 26" axe and send her to the morgue. Burglary is now not such an "easy" crime since the citizens can now fight back. Be warned.

l'll even leave my porchlight on for her.

Ha she isn't my g/f but is the Mother of my child. I filed for custody so I was hoping she would spend some time in there. She ended up getting 157 days. They will let her out early if she completes a rehab program the jail has. It will take some time to even get in the program.

Please understand the terms used, she will not get "more time" she is already sentenced, but what they do is order her to spend part of the probation sentence in jail. So it is not getting more time ( any additional sentence) it is merely doing the one she got, when given probation, the terms are if you violate them, you are subject to spend up to the full amount of time in jail or prison if you violate them too seriously.

What happens is up to the judge
